About The Position

As a Project Manager, you’ll take the lead in shaping critical water and wastewater infrastructure projects that make a real difference in communities. From concept through completion, you’ll drive every phase—planning, design, and delivery, while guiding high-performing, multidisciplinary teams to success. In this role, you’ll build and strengthen client relationships, serving as a trusted partner and strategic advisor. You’ll balance technical excellence with financial and operational performance, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and to the highest standards. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 8+ years of water and wastewater engineering experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Proficiency in AutoCad and Civil3D software.

Responsibilities

  • Drive project execution strategies, proactively identifying risks, resolving challenges, and implementing solutions to keep projects on track and within scope.
  • Develop and monitor detailed project work plans, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure efficient use of time and financial performance.
  • Lead client presentations, workshops, and stakeholder meetings, translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, permitting requirements, and industry standards throughout all project phases.
  • Oversee contract management activities, including scope development, negotiations, change orders, and documentation.
  • Champion continuous improvement by implementing best practices, innovative technologies, and process enhancements across projects.
  • Partner with business development teams to identify new opportunities, contribute to proposals, and support project pursuits and interviews.
  • Monitor project financials, including forecasting, invoicing, and profitability analysis, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between engineering, environmental, planning, and construction teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to clients, providing guidance on long-term infrastructure planning, capital improvement programs, and system optimization.
