2027 Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern - Washington
About The Position
We are looking for ambitious achievers to join our 2027 Kickstart Internship Program in Federal Way, Washington! Your work will support project teams providing solutions for water resources, water quality, wastewater and water treatment, pipeline and conveyance design, and recycled water planning and implementation issues that our water environment, transportation, and industrial sector clients are facing. You will have opportunities to get involved in significant projects throughout the United States. These projects may involve fieldwork, technical report preparation and calculations, pre-construction conditions documentation, design plans and specifications.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in: Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
- Completion of a minimum of sophomore (second-year) standing in an accredited engineering program.
Responsibilities
- Support project teams providing solutions for water resources, water quality, wastewater and water treatment, pipeline and conveyance design, and recycled water planning and implementation issues.
- Involve in fieldwork.
- Prepare technical reports and calculations.
- Document pre-construction conditions.
- Assist with design plans and specifications.
- Apply skills and calculations learned in school to a variety of projects.
- Manage ongoing projects and communicate with other team members and clients.
- Attend and contribute to client meetings.
- Visit project sites.
- Receive mentorship and advising.
- Network with employees and clients.
