Water/Wastewater Engineer
About The Position
A Midwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is hiring a Water/Wastewater Engineer for its Austin team. The engineer will manage and deliver water/wastewater projects, coordinate technical solutions with the team, mentor team members, support proposal preparation and business development, and attend client meetings. Salary is commensurate with experience. Applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship. Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
- At least 5 years of water/wastewater plant and infrastructure design experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Knowledge of county government agencies.
- Experience with MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and monitor project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
- Deliver projects on a timely basis.
- Communicate and coordinate project ideas and solutions with the team.
- Provide technical guidance and mentor team members.
- Prepare engineering project proposals and assist with business development.
- Attend client meetings.
