About The Position

Arcadis' Resilience Water team is seeking a Project Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our Houston, TX office, supporting the design and delivery of critical water and wastewater infrastructure projects. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering impactful projects that directly support communities across Texas. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to take projects from concept through construction—gaining exposure to complex infrastructure challenges while building your technical and project leadership capabilities. Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related field
5 years of related industry experience in the water/wastewater field
PE License in Texas (or ability to obtain TX PE within 6 months)

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in Engineering or an MBA
8 years of related industry experience in the water/wastewater field
Experience leading projects or major design tasks for municipal clients

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects from concept through construction
Manage project budgets, schedules, and teams to ensure high-quality, on-time, and profitable delivery
Collaborate with clients, Area Leaders, and Account Leaders to define project scope, develop fee estimates, and manage risk
Contribute to business development efforts, including proposals, presentations, and client engagement strategies
Mentor and support junior engineers while upholding strong quality, safety, and technical excellence standards
