About The Position

Culligan Water of Hagerstown is seeking a Water Treatment Installer/Service Technician to install, repair, upgrade and provide maintenance for Culligan equipment and products in customers' homes and/or businesses. Our products include water softeners, drinking water systems and solutions for problem water. Our work is focused on treating problem water and ensuring safe water in homes. The technician's goal is to provide the maximum amount of quality service to Culligan customers. We don’t just get the job done - we work hard to create raving fans who will go out and tell others about the great products and service they received at every level of the company. Requirements

  • Driver’s License (Required) plus a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Teamwork mentality
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be able to lift/move 50-75 lbs. or more such as bags or salt, equipment and supplies that are required daily
  • Available to work overtime as needed
  • Basic math skills for calculations and measurements
  • Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate recordkeeping

Responsibilities

  • Installing, upgrading, and maintaining equipment.
  • Completing paperwork related to tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Performing all diagnostics and analysis to troubleshoot and repair equipment in a timely and efficient manner to ensure proper functioning.
  • Clean equipment, parts, or tools to repair or maintain them in good working order.
  • Apply protective coverings to objects or surfaces near work areas.
  • Assisting other employees with the delivery and installation of products/equipment.
  • Maintaining company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
  • Communicating positively with customers and maintaining positive public relations for the company.
  • Following all rules and regulations about safety and Culligan policies.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize treatment processes
  • Clean work areas.
