About The Position

Garratt-Callahan is seeking a Water Treatment Chemical Service Technician in Atlanta, Georgia. This role focuses on sales support by maintaining the existing customer base, performing water treatment tests, and working alongside veteran Territory Managers. The position offers the flexibility of working from home and the opportunity to train for a career as a Territory Manager, who are eligible for unlimited commission and a year-end bonus. The role involves solving customer water problems, treating industrial boilers and cooling towers for efficiency and environmental friendliness, performing detailed water testing and analyses at various industrial sites, and assisting in the sale of proprietary chemical blends, equipment, and monitoring technology. The technician will also be involved in passivation of stainless steel, selling corrosion and scale inhibitors, coagulants, flocculants, biocides, bio-augmentation, feed and monitoring equipment, water management plans, reverse osmosis products, and Water Safety Programs, all while ensuring existing customer satisfaction and helping to acquire new industrial customers.

Requirements

A technical degree such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Mechanical Engineering, Paper Science, or Water Resources.
Must live in Atlanta or very nearby and be familiar with the industrial marketplace of the area.

Responsibilities

Solve customers' water problems.
Treat industrial boilers and cooling towers to keep energy efficient and environmentally friendly.
Perform detailed water testing & analyses at Industrial sites, Manufacturers, Data Centers, Medical Centers, and Commercial Buildings.
Help sell Garratt-Callahan's proprietary chemical blends, equipment, & monitoring technology.
Passivation of stainless steel in industrial water treatment systems.
Help sell corrosion & scale inhibitors, coagulants, flocculants, biocides, bio-augmentation, feed & monitoring equipment, water management plans, reverse osmosis products.
Help sell Water Safety Programs.
Keep our existing customers happy.
Help bring on new industrial customers.
