About The Position

The Water Slide Attendant is responsible for multiple functions in the activities area of the Recreation Department at Hershey Lodge. Duties include hosting scheduled seasonal activities and events, participating in costume as a Hershey Product Character, welcoming guests and children at the Kid's Check In, assisting with special events and themed weekends, and performing other duties as assigned. The role may involve care, supervision, guidance, or control of children, or regular ongoing contact with children. Newly hired candidates must submit Pennsylvania State Police criminal history, Pennsylvania Department of Human Services Child Abuse History, and fingerprint-based federal criminal history clearances before starting employment. The position requires at least 16 hours of work per week. The schedule is primarily second shift but may vary according to operational needs; weekends and holidays are required. Physical requirements include complete mobility and good physical conditioning, good hearing and vision, the ability to tolerate heat, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
