About The Position

The Aquatics Assistant - Slide Attendant supports daily pool operations and helps maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming aquatic environment. The role includes assisting with pool-area setup and cleanup, and monitoring the Ninja Cross and Slide to ensure they are used safely and appropriately. The attendant provides positive, professional customer service to members and guests, follows safety procedures, and assists staff with incidents, injuries, or emergencies. Training is provided. The position receives a free Community Center membership.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must have Adult CPR/AED certification or be able to obtain it within the first 60 days; training will be provided.
• Provide excellent customer service to patrons and staff.
• Attend scheduled meetings and training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Attend the Ninja Cross and Slide, ensuring users meet requirements and use equipment safely and appropriately.
• Assist with setup, organization, and cleanup of the pool area.
• Follow established safety procedures and assist staff in responding to incidents, injuries, or emergencies.
• Interact with members and staff with enthusiasm, patience, and a positive attitude.
• Communicate effectively with staff and provide excellent customer service to patrons.
• Attend required training sessions and staff meetings.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
