About The Position

The Town of Charlton is looking for a Water/Sewer Foreman to join their team. This role is responsible for planning, developing, recommending, scheduling, implementing, and overseeing construction, maintenance, and operation activities for water service and wastewater discharge. The Foreman will supervise contractor crews in installing new water/sewer lines, installing and relocating fire hydrants and meters, and maintaining existing water/sewer systems. This role also involves overseeing construction and maintenance work to ensure conformity with all applicable laws, policies, procedures, practices, and norms.

Requirements

Associates degree in civil engineering or related field
Additional technical training
5-7 years of responsible experience in public works water/sewer utility systems maintenance
Any equivalent combination of education and experience
Valid Driver's License

Nice To Haves

Grade 5C or higher MA wastewater operator license
Grade 2 or higher drinking water distribution license

Responsibilities

Plan, develop, recommend, schedule, implement, and oversee construction, maintenance, and operation activities for water service and wastewater discharge.

Maintain existing water/sewer supply and distribution systems.
