The Water, Sanitation and Solid Waste (WSSW) Lead is responsible for KINETIK’s water, sanitation and solid waste sector portfolio, providing technical leadership and oversight across sector strategy, pipeline development, and delivery. The role leads the identification, development, and progression of a pipeline of sector activities and investments from early-stage opportunity identification and policy alignment through to project preparation, investment readiness, and implementation. The position ensures that WSSW interventions are technically robust, aligned with Government of Indonesia priorities, and structured to support climate-resilient development and financing. The role operates under the strategic and technical direction of the Head of Climate Resilient Development, contributing to the delivery of KINETIK’s broader climate-resilient development portfolio. The Lead works closely with the Financing and Transactions team to ensure sector opportunities are investment-ready and aligned with financing pathways, and with the Policy, Partnerships and Inclusion pillar to support enabling policy and institutional reform. The role engages with government counterparts, development partners, and private sector actors to support sector reform, service delivery improvements, and investment mobilisation across water supply, sanitation, and solid waste management systems.
