About The Position

Roto-Rooter is seeking a Water Restoration Manager to lead their water restoration department at their Salt Lake City branch. The salary range for this position is $85,000-$90,000, with potential for a branch performance-based bonus. The manager's role involves increasing water restoration business volume through business development, customer cultivation, and improving the skills of sales professionals and service technicians, while ensuring optimal use of staffing and equipment.

Requirements

  • Sales management experience, preferably in the restoration or service industry.
  • Strong customer service focus and effective communication skills with customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in using Xactimate software.
  • Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new and existing business by training and managing the water restoration sales force activity, procedures, and performance.
  • Promote commercial and residential services to insurance agents for water-damaged properties.
  • Serve as the front-line and first responder for the company.
  • Act as the point of contact for the customer and insurance agent throughout the project.
  • Hire and maintain a team of sales representatives and service technicians, in conjunction with the Hiring Manager.
  • Conduct on-the-job training for project managers, technicians, and claims specialists according to RRSC guidelines.
  • Collaborate with service technicians and commercial sales representatives in the selling and estimating process.
  • Inspect sites and present solutions to customers.
  • Ensure projects are completed within the established timeframe and to the customer's satisfaction.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment (e.g., trucks, safety equipment, uniforms) to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor employee compliance with safety policies and requirements.
  • Ensure vehicles are properly used and maintained.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory of needed supplies and control costs.
  • Use Xactimate software to create proposals.
