The Water Resources Intern will join a water resources engineering team supporting hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for stormwater management on land development projects, including residential subdivisions, commercial sites, and mixed-use developments. Projects range from small drainage studies to large detention and floodplain analyses for private developers, homebuilders, and municipal clients. This position offers a direct opportunity to apply hydrology and hydraulics coursework to real-world development projects. As a Water Resources Intern, the selected candidate will learn to apply regulatory standards — including FEMA floodplain regulations and local stormwater ordinances — in the design process and will assist Senior Engineers in the preparation of drainage reports, detention facility designs, and floodplain studies.
