About The Position
CDM Smith is looking for a Water Resources Engineer with experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling of stormwater systems for a diverse portfolio of local and regional clients. The candidate should have 7 or more years of relevant experience with PE licensure and be able to perform basic to high complexity GIS analyses, hydraulic calculations, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, data analysis, and report writing. On site evaluations and/or other field work supporting water resources projects may be required.
Requirements

- PE licensure
- Ability to perform basic to high complexity GIS analyses
- Ability to perform hydraulic calculations
- Ability to perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling
- Ability to perform data analysis
- Ability to perform report writing
- Expert Knowledge of HEC RAS
- Expert knowledge of GIS software and practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Expert Knowledge of Microsoft business software (excel, word, etc.)
- Solid knowledge of other support tools such as mathematical models, scripting languages, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, Coastal or Chemical Engineering or related discipline
- Professional engineering (PE) license
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in developing grading plans in CAD is desirable but not required.
- Intermediate knowledge of hydraulics as appropriate for technical work.
