About The Position

GSI Environmental Inc. has an immediate opening for a Mid-level Hydrogeologist/Hydrologist with a background in quantitative analysis in either our Irvine or Folsom, California office. This individual would have the opportunity to work with our internationally recognized subject matter experts in applying numerical models and data science tools to water resources projects locally and abroad. Requirements

Over 3 years of related work experience
Master's Degree or higher in Geology, Civil/Environmental Engineering, or related scientific field with an emphasis in quantitative analysis
Interest in professional registration as applicable to one’s technical background
Experience working on water resource modeling, data analysis, visualization of modeling results, and reporting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Valid driver’s license and clear driving record
Ability to travel

Nice To Haves

Experience in water resource studies, subsidence analyses, and resource management evaluations are desirable

Responsibilities

Directing and managing small to mid-sized hydrogeology/hydrology-related tasks
Helping develop technical approaches for solving complex water resource management problems
Assist with written proposals, managing project budgets, and communicating with clients and project stakeholders
Working directly with clients to identify specific project needs and communicating results
