We are seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer to lead hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) efforts across a wide range of land development projects. This role requires a professional who has successfully delivered projects from concept through permitting and into construction, understanding how modeling decisions impact grading, cost, and constructability, and can apply that knowledge in a practical, real-world way. The engineer will play a key role in shaping site design, guiding project strategy, and helping clients navigate complex regulatory environments.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • PE license in Florida (or ability to obtain within 12 months)

  • Proficiency with ArcGIS for data development and model inputs
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to collaborate with local, state, and federal review agencies.
  • Strong critical thinking and judgment to evaluate solutions and make decisions.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong time management skills to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.

  • Design stormwater treatment systems to meet FDEP, WMD, and local regulatory requirements
  • Build defensible models using real-world data, GIS inputs, and sound engineering judgment
  • Collaborate closely with civil/site teams to align grading, drainage, utilities, and permitting strategies
  • Support projects during construction by responding to RFIs, reviewing field conditions, and adjusting designs as needed
