About The Position

As a Waterpark Supervisor at Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark, you’ll lead a dynamic team, ensure lifeguard excellence through ongoing training, manage Red Cross certifications, and create a safe, exciting environment where guests and families can make unforgettable memories. Tucked within historic Lake Geneva, Timber Ridge Lodge at the Grand Geneva Resort, is the only all-season, all-suite, destination of its kind in the Midwest. Featuring 50,000 square feet of year-round, indoor/outdoor waterpark excitement, Timber Ridge Lodge is a family bonding adventure that’s soaked in memories. Just 90 minutes from Chicago and 50 minutes from Milwaukee, this property is also home to two championship golf courses, WELL Spa and fitness center, Mountain Top Ski Park, award-winning restaurants, and 1300 acres of picturesque grounds.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Possess American Red Cross certifications: Lifeguard, Shallow Water Attendant, and Administering Emergency Oxygen.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to assist and interact with guests, patrons, and team members.
  • Capable of supervising others, enforcing rules, and responding to emergencies with sound decision-making.
  • Skilled in handling challenging customer interactions with patience, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively while supervising facility activities and maintaining safety standards.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • High school education preferred, with two years of active lifeguard experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new materials and topics for daily training sessions.
  • Provide feedback for staff evaluations and support team growth.
  • Act as Manager on Duty in the Director’s absence.
  • Serve as the liaison for Red Cross materials, trainings, and lifeguard classes.
  • Supervise and support Head Guards, Lifeguards, Slide Attendants, and Aquatic Center Attendants.
  • Enforce facility rules, report repairs, and maintain a safe and clean aquatics area.
  • Assist with opening, closing, and daily operation of the aquatics facility.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including acting as lifeguard, water park attendant, or pool cleaner.
