About The Position

I-2-I Solutions is seeking an experienced Water Management Planner to support the development, implementation, assessment, and maintenance of healthcare Water Management Programs in accordance with ASHRAE Standard 188, CDC guidance, and federal healthcare requirements. The ideal candidate will possess practical experience with healthcare water systems, ANSI/AAMI ST108 sterile processing water testing, Legionella risk management, and dental water quality programs. This position supports hospitals, Veterans Affairs Medical Centers, military treatment facilities, and other healthcare organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and update Water Management Programs in accordance with ASHRAE 188
  • Perform onsite water system risk assessments
  • Develop flow diagrams and water system schematics
  • Identify hazardous conditions and control measures
  • Review water quality data and recommend corrective actions
  • Coordinate with facility engineering, infection prevention, sterile processing, and laboratory personnel
  • Evaluate compliance with CDC, CMS, VA, Joint Commission, and ANSI/AAMI guidance
  • Support Legionella prevention strategies
  • Develop sampling plans for: Potable water systems, Sterile Processing water systems (ANSI/AAMI ST108), Dental Unit Waterlines, Utility water systems
  • Assist with outbreak investigations and corrective actions
  • Conduct customer training and presentations
  • Prepare professional technical reports
