The Water Maintenance Technician cleans, adjusts, and performs minor repairs to water throughout the waterpark and auxiliary equipment by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, other duties may be assigned) Maintains dress and appearance in accordance with park uniform and employee handbook regulations. Tests water – follows rules for conducting testing. Has a working knowledge and understanding of pool chemistry. Treats water and applies chemicals (with proper licensing). Uses basic skills of carpentry, plumbing, painting and light electrical. Has a knowledge of, and willingness to practice, standard shop safety. Performs accutrol probe cleaning and replacement. Safely and correctly uses all hand and power tools. Performs troubleshooting techniques. Performs HVAC computer operations. Performs Air Handler operations. Possesses, or obtains, knowledge of all park equipment operations and locations. Works in water and underwater conditions. Provides quality workmanship and pride in the facility. Assists guests in a polite manner. Other duties as assigned, which could be directly related, or un-related to original position. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
