About The Position
Arcadis is seeking a Water Engineering Intern to join their Akron, OH office. This role is within the Design & Engineering teams, focusing on creating impactful structures and spaces. The position is part of the Resilience business area, offering collaboration with experienced water professionals, project development support, client interaction, and technical skill development.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a program seeking a degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Previous internship or co-op experience involving similar civil engineering work.
- Involvement in professional engineering club(s) or other engineering-related extracurricular activities.
Responsibilities
- Attend meetings in support of design professionals and specific projects.
- Learn aspects of projects and technical work.
- Help document project status.
- Shadow/observe tasks by others in the field or office.
- Perform project-specific research.
- Perform data collection and management.
- Develop and deliver a presentation to a manager at the end of the internship.
