About The Position

HDR is hiring a Water Intern for a Summer 2027 internship with its Water Business Group. The intern will gain real-world experience on water projects, participate in mentoring and young professionals’ programs, and perform engineering assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager. The role applies standard engineering techniques and procedures and may include other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Commitment to actively participating in HDR’s employee-owned culture.

Nice To Haves

• Preference for local or regional candidates pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Biological and Agricultural Engineering during Summer 2027.
• Prefer two years completed toward the degree and a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to the field of study or industry.
