This role offers the opportunity to provide technical and execution assistance for water distribution hydraulic modeling and system planning projects across the United States. The position involves evaluating water systems for capacity, condition, water quality, resilience, and operating efficiency, summarizing findings, and making recommendations. It also includes performing analysis and projections of water demands, using hydraulic modeling software to build, calibrate, and evaluate water systems, and conducting risk-based assessments to develop and prioritize capital improvement programs. The role requires integrating condition assessment and asset management data for replacement and renewal planning, utilizing cutting-edge hydraulic modeling, GIS, asset management, and data visualization software, and supporting client marketing and business development activities. The engineer will also be responsible for owning assigned technical tasks and deliverables, including performing quality checks of calculations, models, and figures before submittals.
