About The Position
This is an entry-level position for a motivated individual to join the team at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. On-the-job training will be provided to help grow a career in environmental services and wastewater treatment. The role is full-time with growth opportunities, focusing on learning, safety, and community service.
Requirements
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in outdoor and industrial environments
- Must be able to obtain a TWIC badge (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)
- High school diploma or GED required
Nice To Haves
- Some experience in a related field (maintenance, mechanical, utilities, construction, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment systems
- Monitor equipment, collect data, and support safe, compliant plant performance
- Perform routine inspections, basic troubleshooting, and light maintenance
- Learn and apply best practices in water treatment under experienced supervision
