About The Position

The Wastewater Technician I is an entry level position responsible to SAFELY perform the following fundamental tasks: waste stream sampling, off-loading tanker trucks, waste stream QA/QC, bench testing, and waste stream treat code assignments. The WWTT is expected to have a general mechanical understanding of liquids management. Specifically, via hose connection/removal, pump function / operation, and valves management.

Requirements

< 1 year of experience
Ability to kneel, crawl, stoop, bend, and twist for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift over 50 pounds
Ability to pass respirator fit test
Experience in NetSuite
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

General mechanical understanding of liquids management, including hose connection/removal, pump function/operation, and valves management.
