About The Position
We are seeking a Wastewater Operator to support the operation and maintenance of a water/wastewater treatment plant. This role is ideal for candidates looking to grow in the utilities field and obtain certification.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry)
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Willingness to obtain Class I Wastewater Certification within 18 months
Responsibilities
- Operate pumps, valves, and treatment systems
- Monitor gauges, meters, and control panels
- Collect samples and perform basic lab testing
- Record readings and maintain logs
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning
- Report equipment issues and support plant operations
