About The Position

The City of Bowie is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Wastewater Plant Maintenance Worker. This position includes regularly performing routine cleaning, and making minor maintenance to tools and equipment in and around the City’s wastewater treatment plant and associated facilities, by using proper methods and materials for cleaning and maintaining buildings and equipment.

Requirements

• One year of experience in routine custodial or similar
• Knowledge and ability in the use of basic shop tools.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma
• Knowledge of general maintenance, plumbing, electrical or carpentry

Responsibilities

• Performing routine cleaning of tools and equipment in and around the City’s wastewater treatment plant and associated facilities.
• Making minor maintenance to tools and equipment in and around the City’s wastewater treatment plant and associated facilities.
• Using proper methods and materials for cleaning and maintaining buildings and equipment.
