This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and calibrating mechanical, electrical, electronic, and ancillary equipment associated with the Advanced Wastewater Treatment Facility. This includes items such as pumps, valves, motors, air compressors, sensors, telemetry equipment, ultraviolet light disinfection equipment, solids centrifuge equipment, flow meters, and generators. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, managing a plant-wide parts/supplies inventory in a computer-based format, and fabricating/installing minor equipment and piping modifications. The position performs equipment vibration analysis and thermal imaging for predictive maintenance, ensures the work-order process is up-to-date, and supervises/schedules daily work for assigned Maintenance Mechanics, assisting with performance evaluations. A key aspect is ensuring all equipment adheres to the plant's preventative maintenance program and tracking tasks in CMMS, providing weekly updates to the supervisor.
