About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role involves inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining plant equipment to support safe and efficient operations. The position also includes performing preventive and predictive maintenance activities to minimize downtime, diagnosing mechanical issues and implementing effective corrective solutions, collaborating with plant teams to improve equipment reliability and operational performance, and following all safety procedures, maintenance standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to inspect, maintain, and repair industrial mechanical equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established procedures.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when needed.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
