About The Position

This role involves inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment used in hazardous waste material processing and handling operations. The position requires performing preventive maintenance on various equipment, identifying and resolving equipment issues to maximize reliability and minimize downtime, and maintaining accurate maintenance records. Adherence to all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements is crucial, especially when working with hazardous materials and industrial equipment.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to diagnose, maintain, and repair industrial mechanical systems and equipment.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety, environmental compliance, and safe work practices.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and rotating equipment systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance documentation.
• Effective problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment used in hazardous waste material processing and handling operations.
• Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, and related equipment.
• Identify and resolve equipment issues to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements while working with hazardous materials and industrial equipment.
