About The Position

Performs typical maintenance tasks to support the assembly floor and the entire facility. Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or grounds as required. Must be familiar with the waste water system, assist in the Dewatering Room, check and repair pumps, and replace gear oil when necessary. Must be able to perform all maintenance required in the wastewater department and obey all USDA, HACCP, and PLANT rules and regulations including safety. Must be able to work with little or no supervision.

Requirements

  • Must be familiar with the waste water system.
  • Must have a good work history and attendance record.
  • Must have a history of safe work practices.
  • Must be familiar with plant safety polices.
  • Must assist in Dewatering Room.
  • Must be able to check and repair pumps.
  • Must replace gear oil when necessary.
  • Must be able to perform all maintenance required in wastewater department.
  • Must obey all USDA, HACCP, and PLANT rules and regulations including safety.
  • Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
  • General safety training.
  • Lock-Out-Tag-Out training.
  • HAZMAT training.
