About The Position
GreenSpace Recycling is seeking a Waste Remedy Agent Trainee (Box Truck Driver & Waste Sorter) to join their Puget Sound Team. This role involves driving a company-provided box truck, sorting trash and recycling on-site, cleaning enclosures, and handling bulky items. The position offers training and opportunities for growth within the company, with a focus on quality, safety, and sustainability.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with at least 5 years of relevant driving experience.
- Early morning shifts
- Ability to lift body weight; stamina for outdoor physical work
- Reliable attendance and communication.
- Successful completion of pre-employment screenings, including driving risk analysis, Motor Vehicle Report, drug screening, background check, and any required medical certifications (such as a DOT medical card for drivers).
Responsibilities
- Navigate daily routes in a company-provided box truck.
- On-site sorting of trash and recycling, cleaning enclosures, and handling furniture or appliances.
- Lift and maneuver items weighing up to 150+ pounds.
- Removal of bulky items (including furniture and appliances)
- Perform light janitorial work and cleanup as needed
