About The Position

The Washroom Attendant supports dry processing of snack food products through sorting, dipping, packing, weighing, and other tasks that prepare products for packaging. The role also assists with all phases of plant cleaning, including cleaning production areas, equipment, and tools according to proper sanitation procedures.

This full-time position is based in Martinsville, Virginia. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and not currently enrolled in high school. The role may require extended hours based on production needs, including work after regular business hours and on weekends.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must not be currently enrolled in high school.
• Knowledge of basic sanitation practices and techniques.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
• Ability to work in a team-based environment.
• Ability to handle (hold and grasp), climb and balance, bend and twist, and use seeing/depth perception.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and push or pull 1,200-pound trees.
• Ability to stand for 100% of the shift.
• Maintain personal hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Break down and clean equipment according to sanitation procedures.
• Clean cutting room and wet processing areas.
• Clean plant floors, walls, drains, trash cans, restrooms, breakroom, and sanitation room.
• Clean processing equipment, including product screens and trees.
• Follow GMP/HAACP procedures.
• Support dry processing through sorting, dipping, packing, weighing, and other product-preparation tasks.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
