About The Position

The full-time Wash Truck Operator and Lube Technician cleans mobile heavy equipment for maintenance purposes, greases aggregate plant processing equipment, and supports mobile equipment mechanics as needed. The position operates and maintains pressure-washing and greasing equipment, performs job-site housekeeping, inspects and cares for an on-site company vehicle, and communicates and schedules work. This is a night-shift position, with hours from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. During peak season, the role may require 50–60 hours per week and Saturday work. Work is outdoors in hot and cold weather.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
Must have a driver's license and a clean driving record.
Must be comfortable driving a large 24-foot flatbed truck; no CDL is required.
Excellent communication skills.
Able to schedule daily and weekly work independently.
Willing to work outdoors in hot and cold weather.
Basic mechanical skills for minor repairs and maintenance.
Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Strong work ethic and customer-service skills.
Able to use common sense and initiative to carry out assigned tasks and follow directions.
Able to handle basic hand tools and light or heavy materials.
Able to stand, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
