About The Position

As the Wash Person your work directly enhances the guest experience because every perfectly cleaned towel and sheet makes a difference. You will operate laundry equipment with precision, ensuring all items meet our high standards of cleanliness, quality, and care.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance guidelines, and procedural manuals.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work in hot, humid conditions around loud, moving machinery.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds as part of daily job duties.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.

  • Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Load articles into washers and add the correct amount of detergent, soap, or other cleaning agents.
  • Program the appropriate classification for each batch, including customer number and weight.
  • Operate washers by filling machines, starting cycles, and ensuring proper wash and rinse processes.
  • Assist in sorting and separating soiled linens by classification to maintain quality standards.
  • Generate and review production reports as needed.
  • Clean and maintain washer areas daily to ensure a safe and organized workspace.
  • Follow and comply with all safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Mix dyes and bleaches according to established formulas and apply them to designated linens.
  • Ensure all count sheets are accurately completed on a daily basis.
  • Other responsibilities assigned by management team.
