About The Position

The Wash Bay / Steamer is responsible for cleaning and detailing company and customer equipment before and after repairs. The role also maintains the wash facility as a safe environment and performs normal maintenance on wash systems. The employee may assist technicians and perform other duties assigned by the manager, while participating in required safety programs and working safely.

Successful candidates are mechanically inclined, organized, safety conscious, customer focused, and able to operate different types of heavy equipment. They should be able to multitask and solve problems, have basic computer skills, maintain a clean driving record, and take pride in their work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills, including email, internet, and basic data entry.
• Problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Safety conscious and customer focused.
• Self-driven and takes pride in work.
• Mechanical aptitude and organizational ability.
• Ability to operate different types of heavy equipment.

• Experience driving different types of heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean machines and/or components as directed.
• Maintain the wash facility as a safe environment, including normal maintenance to wash systems.
• Assist technicians as needed.
• Participate in the required safety program and work in a safe manner.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
