About The Position

Don Vance Auto Group in Marshfield, Missouri, is hiring a full-time Wash Bay Employee for its Service / Detail Department. The employee keeps dealership inventory, customer vehicles, and other vehicles clean, presentable, and ready for customers. The role also includes miscellaneous tasks as assigned and supporting the detail and service departments as needed.

The work involves washing and cleaning vehicles inside and out, preparing new and used vehicles for the lot and customer delivery, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe wash bay. The employee works indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions and around water, cleaning products, vehicles, and automotive equipment.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record and three years of driving experience.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Previous automotive detailing or car wash experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, dry, and clean vehicles inside and out.
• Clean vehicles coming out of the service department.
• Prepare new and used vehicles for the lot and customer delivery.
• Vacuum vehicle interiors and clean windows, dashboards, and door panels.
• Keep the wash bay area clean, organized, and safe.
• Maintain wash equipment and report maintenance issues.
• Assist the detail department and service department as needed.
• Follow dealership procedures for handling customer vehicles.
• Maintain a high standard of quality and attention to detail.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
