About The Position

Don Vance Auto Group is hiring a full-time Wash Bay Employee for its Service / Detail Department in Marshfield, Missouri. The role keeps dealership inventory, customer vehicles, and other vehicles clean, presentable, and ready for customers. The employee may also be assigned miscellaneous tasks and will assist the detail and service departments as needed.

The work involves washing and preparing vehicles, maintaining the wash bay and equipment, and following dealership procedures for customer vehicles. The position involves indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions, around water, cleaning products, vehicles, and automotive equipment.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Three years of driving experience.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Previous automotive detailing or car wash experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, dry, and clean vehicles inside and out.
• Clean vehicles coming out of the service department.
• Prepare new and used vehicles for the lot and customer delivery.
• Vacuum vehicle interiors and clean windows, dashboards, and door panels.
• Keep the wash bay area clean, organized, and safe.
• Maintain wash equipment and report maintenance issues.
• Assist the detail and service departments as needed.
• Follow dealership procedures for handling customer vehicles.
• Maintain a high standard of quality and attention to detail.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
