About The Position
Tri State Distributors is hiring a dependable, full-time Warranty / Returns Clerk for its branch in Royston, Alabama. The company, established in 1983, serves the LP gas, HVAC, and Manufactured Housing industries across the southeastern United States. The position handles warranty claims and product returns, tracking each claim through completion and communicating with customers, vendors, contractors, and carriers by phone and email. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Customer service skills and professional phone etiquette.
- Excellent computer skills and data entry ability.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Assist service companies with completing warranty repair claims.
- Verify warranty coverage for specific equipment.
- Locate part numbers to process warranty part orders.
- Process warranty claims in the company system and submit them to manufacturers for payment.
- Track warranty claims until completed.
- Communicate with vendors, homeowners, and service contractors by phone and email.
- Assist dealers with returning products.
- Process RMAs into the correct warehouses.
- Process damaged-product claims with carriers.
- Track return and damage claims until completed.
- Communicate with dealers and carriers by phone and email.
