About The Position

This role is responsible for processing all warranty claims and records, and assisting the operations team in the day-to-day functions of the shop. The position involves supporting daily functions, processing warranty claims, verifying distributor warranty requirements, posting credits, and following up with distributors on unpaid claims. Additionally, the role requires filing warranty documentation, building Pneulogic controls, performing salter calibrations, programming and assembling InPower switching, training customers on spreader control calibrations and drop tests, troubleshooting and repairing customer spreader controllers, and assisting the Sales department in coordinating customer trainings. The position may require working in multiple locations as needed.

Requirements

Ability to work alone with minimal or no supervision
Working knowledge of basic office software (such as Microsoft Office)
Working knowledge of company software and procedures
General comprehension of and experience in the truck build-up process
Knowledge of onboard truck computer controls including electrical multiplexing and CAN Bus systems
Great attitude and ability to work with others
Good communication skills, written and verbal
Ability to multitask and has good organizational skills
Detailed and goal oriented with effective time management skills
Confident public speaking with the ability to train customers
Mechanically inclined
Valid driver’s license
High school diploma or equivalent
Mechanical related experience
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen (including THC/marijuana), physical, and background check.
Must have a current drivers license to move our vehicles.
Must be able to work 7am-5pm shifts Monday through Friday and Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities

Support daily functions
Process warranty claims
Verify distributor warranty requirements
Post credits received for warranty claims
Follow up with distributors regarding unpaid claims
File warranty documentation and keep warranty records organized
Build Pneulogic controls for Dutton and Howell locations
Responsible for all in house salter calibrations of Dicky John and Rexroth controllers
Program and assemble InPower switching
Train customers on spreader control calibrations and drop tests
Troubleshoot and repair customer spreader controllers
Assist Sales department in coordinating customer trainings
Work in multiple locations as needed
