About The Position

The Warranty Administrator is responsible for collecting funds due to the company from various manufacturers for work performed on their behalf as part of the warranty process. This role ensures all work scheduled is performed safely and to the customer's satisfaction by strictly adhering to the manufacturer’s warranty process.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three months related experience and/or training
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Review documentation generated by the Service Department for all pertinent information required to submit the claim to the factory.
  • Interpret and convert all work performed into manufacturers' labor segment codes and the related approved labor reimbursement amounts.
  • Comply with requirements to support computer claims by providing necessary supporting documents.
  • Investigate in advance of a repair, using the manufacturers' computer systems, whether a product is under warranty coverage.
  • Review status reports.
  • Stay abreast of all factory communications that affect the warranty area of the Service Department.
  • Contribute to the total Support Center team by maintaining the current job status on all computer service tracking systems when needed.
