About The Position

Accountable/responsible for ensuring the consistent application and administration of the company’s warranty programs. Updates warranty information as required and provides accurate records and documentation as applicable.

Requirements

• High School diploma
• 2-3 years of experience in a service/warranty administration role within an industrial setting
• Working knowledge of processing warranty claims
• Specialized in heavy equipment and/or truck and coach industry sectors
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, with a focus on MS Excel and MS Word

Responsibilities

• Review and process warranty claims, including assessment of non-warranty part and/or labor for both warrantable and partially warrantable repairs.
• Maintains communication with supplier representatives and support centers to determine warrantable repairs.
• Maintains warranty parts records and ensures supplier procedures for retaining used parts is followed; processing warranty returns to appropriate suppliers.
• Manage and track warranty claim reports to ensure delinquencies are being paid and handled effectively.
• Ensures accurate record keeping and accounting of warranty programs through review and monitoring of claims and submissions for the branch.
• Follows organizational guidelines and adheres to company standards by completing claims in a timely manner.
• Communicates information with clarity (both written and verbal) to provide documentation required for warranty claims and submissions.
• Uses information and knowledge to make timely and appropriate decisions regarding warrantable claims.
