About The Position

As a 2027 Early Career Warhead Engineer, you will design warheads and complex ordnance and munitions systems and help transition them from prototype to production. You will quickly create high-fidelity prototype parts and assess their effectiveness through range testing. You will manage end-to-end arena and system testing of munitions products, including project planning, experimental design, and safety. The role also involves capturing test video, compiling data from ground and flight tests, analyzing results, and assembling and disassembling explosive test articles and precision targets.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing or have recently completed a bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
• U.S. clearance eligibility may be required depending on the program.
• Must be able to start full time in 2027.

Nice To Haves

• Experience creating complex mechanical designs using CAD tools such as SolidWorks or NX.
• Test experience, including data acquisition, data analysis, and project coordination.
• Experience preparing engineering documentation such as specifications, test procedures, technical reports, and drawings.
• Experience with munitions testing.
• Prior experience in explosive operations and/or handling munitions.
