About The Position

The Greenville Factory Distribution Center receives and ships small domestic appliances for the KitchenAid brand. As a Senior Analyst / Warehousing Supervisor on the 2nd Shift, you will own the entire operational flow through the building for your shift, supervising, coordinating, and overseeing day-to-day logistics operations while developing future-state strategies through lean principles and technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership role within Manufacturing or Supply Chain

Responsibilities

  • Own the entire operational flow through the building during 2nd shift.
  • Establish work schedules, assign duties, and coordinate activities to ensure optimal logistics performance.
  • Oversee execution and control of area Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery (SQCD) performance versus established goals.
  • Work with manufacturing divisions, trade partners, and internal teams to manage distribution center functions, finished goods inventory deployment, and operational flow.
  • Maximize operational efficiency and keep production running smoothly to satisfy customer needs while lowering costs.
  • Document and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices.
  • Lead root-cause investigations for compliance or process misses.
  • Own/manage supply ordering and PO creation, and produce required operational reports.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop team members to grow individual and organizational competency.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, handle employee counseling, and manage corrective/disciplinary actions in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Promote positive employee relations, cultivate team spirit, and drive cooperation across shifts and cross-functional teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement by championing Lean tools and methodologies daily.
  • Use data, logic, and problem-solving tools to identify, prioritize, and resolve operational issues proactively.
  • Support campus projects and lead project implementations to support continuous improvement and future-state development.
  • Maintain strict standards of health, safety, and security in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all Whirlpool operating standards and the Whirlpool Leadership Model.
  • Must be flexible to move across shifts if needed.
