About The Position

Total Seed Production is a corn & soybean seed production facility located in Tipton, IN. We are currently seeking a hands-on distribution manager for our warehouse/distribution operation. This individual will manage the shipping, receiving and trucking processes; as well as manage all tasks and individuals associated with these functions. This position communicates daily with members of both the leadership and management teams to create a direction to help team members achieve daily, weekly and monthly goals. The Distribution Manager plays an integral role in our commitment to our customers by adhering to our quality standards and company core values to meet and exceed expectations.

Requirements

Associate or Bachelor’s degree with 2–3 years experience, or high school diploma with 5+ years of related experience (or equivalent)
Proven leadership and team supervision experience
Hands-on experience in warehousing and distribution operations
Strong communication skills with employees, customers, and vendors
Ability to solve problems quickly and support team performance
Valid Indiana driver’s license
Ability to pass a DOT medical evaluation
Flexible schedule and strong work ethic
Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork

Responsibilities

Oversee daily warehouse and distribution operations, including shipping and receiving
Lead team members and supervisors to meet production and shipping goals
Coordinate trucking, scheduling, and customer delivery expectations
Maintain accurate inventory and strive for 100% shipping accuracy
Communicate with customers to plan, track, and fulfill orders
Ensure proper product handling, storage, and facility organization
Monitor equipment, cold storage units, and warehouse resources
Identify process improvements and implement corrective actions
Collaborate with other departments to support overall operations
