3rd Shift Warehouseman

About The Position

Pet Food Experts is hiring a 3rd Shift Warehouseman to select, move, and load products for replenishment and customer orders. Warehouse products include bags of pet food, cases of cans, and litter. Work involves selecting items from warehouse racks and storage areas, building pallets, and loading pallets into delivery trailers, both manually and using warehouse equipment. The role requires repeatedly and continuously bending, lifting, and moving materials weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the shift. Employees must follow safety procedures, rules, and regulations and maintain accuracy so products are protected from damage during delivery. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 7 p.m. until work is complete. The position is part of the Teamsters Union and pays $23.01 per hour. Employment offers are contingent on passing a required background check.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, and understand English, including identifying numbers.
Reliable transportation.
Solid attendance and a positive, professional attitude.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
High degree of skill and dexterity in operating and safely controlling warehouse equipment.

Nice To Haves

Experience safely operating warehouse equipment such as a forklift, pallet jack, or high reach truck.
Experience and certification for an electric pallet jack and forklift.
Experience with Infor WMS.

Responsibilities

Select, move, and load products to replenish inventory or fulfill customer orders, manually and with warehouse equipment.
Repeatedly bend, lift, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
Build pallets accurately and efficiently to prevent product damage during delivery.
Load pallets into delivery trailers for transport.
Follow applicable safety procedures, rules, and regulations while performing job functions and supporting activities.
