About The Position
The Warehouseman efficiently manages the movement and handling of materials within the plant site. The position includes operating overhead cranes and forklifts, handling inventory, maintaining production line equipment, and performing related tasks. The second-shift schedule is 3:00 p.m.–1:00 a.m. Monday through Thursday and 1:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m. Friday, with availability to work overtime as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations with whole numbers and use American currency and units of measurement for weight, volume, and distance.
- Ability to pass a physical examination for vision, hearing, and mobility.
- Demonstrated reliable work history.
- Attention to detail and a strong focus on precision and quality in inspection tasks.
Nice To Haves
- One to three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to load and unload materials.
- Receive incoming inventory and ensure proper tagging and documentation.
- Maintain production line equipment with necessary raw materials to minimize downtime.
- Use computer systems to tag, ship, and receive materials.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
