About The Position

Penske Logistics is hiring warehouse associates for roles including Forklift Operators, Shipping & Receiving Clerks, Inventory Clerks, and Warehouse Pick/Pack. The roles are based at 5415 Centerpoint Parkway, Suite 100, Groveport, Ohio. Candidates can attend an open house to tour the warehouse, meet the team, and complete an application, assessment, and interview on the same day. Job offers and on-the-spot drug screening may also take place. Closed-toe shoes are required to tour the warehouse floor. Available schedules include first shift, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; second shift, Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to midnight; and third/weekend shift, Friday through Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. First- and second-shift associates are currently working Monday through Friday. Associates must be willing to work overtime, which may involve extended daily hours and/or additional scheduled days. A shift premium is offered for second and weekend shifts, in addition to a competitive base pay rate that depends on the role. The position is designated safety-sensitive. Associates are expected to maintain alertness and work safely, accepting responsibility for their own safety and that of others. Work may be in non-climate-controlled conditions. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential job function. Penske Logistics provides transportation, warehousing, and supply-chain management solutions, with operations in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.

Requirements

No prior warehouse experience is required; experience is preferred for pick/pack and forklift roles.
Warehouse clerical experience is required for Shipping & Receiving and Inventory Clerk roles.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Proficient reading skills and the ability to follow directions in English are required.
Ability to work independently and demonstrate customer service, interpersonal, multitasking, organizational, flexibility, numerical, and time-management skills is required.
Flexibility to work overtime is preferred.
Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions is required.
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
Willingness to work the required schedule and at the specified location is required.
Must complete a Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation, including past employment, education, and criminal history, and drug screening.
Must be able to remain alert and work safely, taking responsibility for personal and others' safety.
Must be able to remember and understand instructions, guidelines, or other information; see and verbally communicate; and meet the specified vision requirements.
Must be able to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit; frequently use hands to touch, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms; regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
