About The Position

The company is hiring sanitation and cleaning workers for a large-scale tire manufacturing facility in Wilson, North Carolina. The team maintains the cleanliness, safety, and supply levels of employee restrooms and breakrooms in a busy industrial environment with high foot traffic and industrial dust. Openings include Facility Sanitation Specialist, Janitorial Heavy Duty Industrial Cleaner, and Office/Restroom Cleaner roles. The posting lists 4:00 AM–4:00 PM and 4:00 PM–4:00 AM schedules on a four-days-on, four-days-off rotation, as well as Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:00 PM shifts. Applicants are asked to apply before attending an open house with on-the-spot interviews. The open house is Thursday, November 12, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at 405 Nash Street, Wilson, NC 27893; interviews may end earlier depending on attendance and a lunch break. This is an active, physical role in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Workers must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform cleaning tasks during their shifts, and lift and carry trash bags and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds. The company will provide safety glasses and proper personal protective equipment. Heights and confined-space work are mandatory for the listed Monday–Friday heavy-duty industrial cleaner shifts.

Responsibilities

Thoroughly clean, sanitize, and maintain restrooms, including toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
Maintain employee breakrooms by wiping tables, sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning microwaves and countertops.
Collect and empty trash from high-traffic areas, restrooms, and breakrooms, and dispose of it in designated compactors or bins.
Monitor and replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue in assigned areas.
Promptly clean spills, wet floors, and debris to help maintain a safe environment.
For heavy-duty industrial cleaner openings, perform work requiring access to confined spaces and heights.
