About The Position

Warehouse Operations at Cardinal Health performs and controls manual or automated tasks needed to receive, store, and ship products. The work supports the efficient flow of products from vendor receipt through shipment to internal and external customers. This role follows an established process to fulfill orders, including picking products accurately, performing quality checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment. Workers may be cross-trained in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed. The position also includes housekeeping and inventory control tasks, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and training and certification to operate material handling equipment as required. The scheduled shift is Sundays from 7:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. During the remainder of the week, employees may choose to work as many or as few hours as available shifts allow, up to 29 hours per week. Shift notifications and work news are provided through the Shyft app. Training is provided starting on the first day, and candidates with little or no warehouse experience are welcome.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Comfort working regularly at heights of 20–30 feet.
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for an entire shift.
Ability to follow direction and change priorities.
Good verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with technologies such as computers or point-of-sale systems.
Warehouse experience; however, candidates with little or no warehouse experience are welcome.

Responsibilities
