Night Shift Warehouse Worker

About The Position

LKQ Corporation is hiring a night shift Warehouse Worker for $18 per hour. The role supports shipping and receiving activities, including processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and organizing and retrieving warehouse stock. The worker may operate manual or powered equipment to move products. This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

Up to 1 year of work-related experience.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to communicate basic messages orally, write brief messages, and keep simple records.
Ability to follow clear directions, standard procedures, and guidance from a supervisor or manager.
Ability to work from assignments and priorities provided by a supervisor or manager.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Ability to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles and assume awkward positions.
Ability to wear personal protective equipment as required.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
Experience in a warehouse or similar work environment.
Prior experience with PIT equipment, such as forklifts or order pickers.

Responsibilities

Receive inbound products and put them away in designated locations.
Pick or pull the correct products from designated locations and deliver them to a staging area or delivery truck.
Operate manual or powered equipment to transport products throughout the warehouse.
Sort and place parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence.
Maintain orderliness and housekeeping in assigned work areas.
Comply with established company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
