Warehouse Worker (Flex Night Shift)
About The Position
The Assoc II, Warehouse Ops assists with inbound or outbound activities as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor, meeting quality, safety, productivity, and operational standards. Inbound work includes receiving products; outbound work includes shipping products. The role supports the handling, storage, and flow of products through a warehouse and distribution environment. The primary shift is Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. For the remainder of the week, employees may choose as many or as few available shifts as they wish, up to 29 hours per week. Shift notifications, work news, and event updates are provided through the Shyft app. Pay is $21.06 per hour, including shift differential; the position is not bonus eligible. Paid time off is provided in compliance with applicable laws.
Requirements
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the entire shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfort working regularly at heights of 20–30 feet.
Nice To Haves
- 1–2 years of experience.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience.
Responsibilities
- Unload inbound trucks using a pallet jack or equivalent device to move pallets out of trucks.
- Use the Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products.
- Follow applicable regulations when storing refrigerated specialty products.
- Store products in warehouse locations using an order picker or other devices.
- Pick products from warehouse locations and load them into outbound trucks.
- Meet quality, safety, productivity, and operational standards.
